The Story
Located in Gatineau, Québec and only 20 minutes from the nation’s capital, Adélina Barn is an intimate wedding venue and floral studio nestled on a private property overlooking 53 acres of fields and forests. Here, you can design the event of your dreams.
The location features a two-storey open concept barn, covered patio and beautifully-landscaped grounds. The barn was renovated without taking away the history. We used reclaimed wood and milled new lumber on site while maintaining the authenticity of the space. Just outside of the barn lies a 770 sq-ft covered pergola that was built to avoid renting tents and is a great back-up in case of rain. It is furnished with outdoor lounge spaces that will delight your guests. They can enjoy a drink before, during or after the ceremony. Adélina Barn hosts celebrations of up to 90 guests between the months of mid-May to mid-October each year.
Michèle Bourgeois, Founder & Floral Designer, prides herself on providing clients with warm customer service, exquisite cuisine and high-end hospitality. Whether you want your event to be held inside or out or be a casual affair or a formal plated dinner, we will work with you to create a most memorable experience.
The venue includes many additional features such as beautiful gardens filled with wildflowers, unique arches and some beautiful options for ceremony locations. There is a fire pit area for late-night enjoyment. There are few places like Adélina Barn and we would love to share it with you.

Founder & Floral Designer
Michèle and her husband Gregory were the first wedding to be held on the grounds of Adélina Barn in 2014! They convinced Michèle’s parents to let them use the beautiful pine wood barn her Dad had built on their country property back in 2007 in Gatineau, Québec, and the rest is history!
Since her own wedding Michèle and her family have made endless improvements to Adélina Barn, named after Michèle’s paternal grandmother; an incredibly hard-working woman who had 17 children! Over the years they have built custom furniture pieces to seamlessly fit in with the natural surroundings, added many additional features to the space, and transformed this simple country setting into a breathtaking wedding venue inspired by love.
Danielle, Day of Coordinator
Danielle is a romantic at heart, she loves to immerse herself and help people, what better way than to dedicate herself in event planning to guide people with the most memorable day of their lives, helping to plan, organize and coordinate their most treasured event. Being very friendly with great interpersonal skills she is very good at making you feel welcomed and comfortable.
Her personalization and compassionate nature along with her attentiveness to detail will immediately make you feel that she is taking care of every aspect to ensure that your special day will be enjoyable and unforgettable.
Audrée, Day of Coordinator
Audrée is Michèle's second cousin. She is very approachable, positive, and organized. As your daytime coordinator, she is committed to supporting you on this memorable day and will ensure you experience the moment without any hassle.
You can count on her support, and your requests will always be well received. Audrée's goal is to make you feel good, confident, and, above all, to allow you to experience this dream day just as you had imagined it.
François, Night Manager
With a wealth of experience in several fields, François stands out for his integrity, loyalty and professionalism. He is always available to help others and ensures the quality of the work done, while paying a particular attention to the satisfaction of customers.
François, although he puts all his seriousness into his work, likes to take the time to have fun and bring his joie de vivre to the evening. His attention to detail and his ability to listen make him a formidable asset.
Stéphane, Night Manager
Born in Hull, Stéphane, served in the military from 1985 to 1988, based in Chatham, New Brunswick, where he met his wife and mother of two children. He joined the Ottawa Police Service in July 1989 and retired 30 years later in January 2020.
Now, he enjoys playing golf in the summer and hockey in the winter. He love to laugh and looks forward to helping our couples ensure the smooth running of their wedding while celebrating these wonderful moments with them.
